Hello, I was trying to find posts on cool off period policies but didn’t find any post where there is info on major companies (especially the ones hiring for HW roles). Felt this will be a good place to have all the info in one post. Please post any info you have related to cool off period for companies hiring for HW roles. P.S. just added HW here as SW companies list will be too long. From my knowledge, Intel - none (please correct me if I am wrong) FB - 1 yr for same role. Can apply for other roles. But fb restricts 3 applications in 90 day period. Any info on the list below (and any I missed in list)? Apple Google Microsoft Nvidia AMD Arm Synopsys Cadence Qualcomm Broadcom Ampere Juniper Networks TSMC Samsung Amazon Groq Nuvia Waymo #hardware #cool-off #interviews #jobs
No cool off for tsmc
How is the pay @ tsmc compared to 🥜 @ intel? Any better?
3 months for Juniper
No cool off in Nvidia
Google 1 yr if failed from onsite. 6 months if failed from phone screening.
Shouldn't it be the reverse? Why a year if you failed onsite but passed screen?
Any idea about AMD and MSFT?
Apple and intel does not have cool off period after rejected. Keep applying young Jedi!! I worked at both companies.
Not true. Apple does have cool off period after onsite rejection.
Second this, got in on my 3rd try. Interviews /applications were only 2 weeks to a month from each other. All about team fit and tech stack fit.
