Why no one cares about the lives lost in Gaza, Israel and busy in their own lives?
I just got some of those USB C Flash drives, so I gave it a try on my Android phone, and got some corrupted files. 1. So I tried again, and saw after the file copying, "Don't disconnect the device. Data being transferred." 2. And so I waited. The info box then went away, and I power down the phone, unplugged the USB drive, and plugged it into a Mac. 3. Again, the file was corrupted near the end. Great. It is good that I checked. Because sometimes I don't. So I tried again: 4. I repeated step (1) above, and after that "Don't disconnect the device" box went away, I just sat there and looked at the screen and waited. 5. After close to 10 seconds, a box popped up: "Data transfer complete". Ok, so this time, the file was not corrupted. So you can't count on the warning box to finally disappear. You have to wait for another box that says data transfer is complete. I have worked in 4 of the FAANGMO companies. The coworkers I worked with: saying WTF, "it is what it is" all day. They say "do this". You ask them why, they say "I dunno", and "It is what it is". The simple solution really, can be: the first info box should say, "Don't disconnect the device. Wait for the message to report data transfer is complete," TC 420k #android #google
