Cost for an employer to use e verify

Hi, I'm currently on F1 visa and I got an offer from Startup. But it doesn't use e verify. So I can't apply for the stem OPT extension. How can I convince my company to use e verify? What are the costs associated with it? I know it's mentioned free in the e verify portal.. but I would like to know any hidden courts

If they use an HRIS vendor then they may not have an e-verify service through that vendor. For example, my startup uses rippling and we didn’t initially have e-verify. I think rippling asked for $1k or smthn like that but when we bought aso service they gave us e-verify integration for free.

Thanks a lot for sharing. So you're saying there's no significant cost to company by adopting e verify right?

Again, depends on how they do their HR. With rippling it was cheap. With manual it might be free. But if they are stuck with vendor that doesn’t do it then it can be difficult.
