Dear all I am planning to sell around $1M of specific company stock to re-invest Ww index ETFs. My question is about cost of selling and buying. Should i try to transfer my stocks in Morgan Stanley/Fidelity to Interactive Brokers? Would selling and buyin cost wise be a loft of difference? Can you give me quantifiable example or any calculator? And last but least do you have any reccomendation for WW Index fund and the why? Thanks! Edit: I am not US citizen or resident. My question is not about tax, that i covered with tax expert with where i live. My question is simply with transaction cost.
You would rather risk a hefty fine following a suggestion in an anonymous forum over paying a few hundred bucks for a trustworthy suggestion from a reputable CPA?
