$10 million is the new $1 million
Soooo true. It’s garbage app
There’s a strategy behind it, they want people to come to their warehouse and shop unnecessary stuff
Let me show my membership code to the associate at the door to speed up entry/exit. The damn app crashes n logs out every time. I doubt that's strategic
Yeah e-commerce takes the back seat as well, because of the “treasure hunting” strategy.
I've heard Costco likes to promote from within so much of tech leadership probably started in the warehouse
This is true. Upper management glorifies the warehouse guys too much.
Costco's entire IT architecture is ancient and I don't understand why they won't invest in it. Probably not worth ROI?
True dat, it’s in large still a green screen of doom
Part of the reason is that they refuse to pay the market rate for IT people.
It has gotten better in the last few years
Lol I don't want to know how bad it was previously I uninstalled the app and just have a screenshotish pic of the membership #
bjs has ramped up! no order and pickup
Cause Costco doesn’t hire h1bs
Walmart’s app the worst..
I respectfully disagree about Walmart’s app. Atleast with Walmart’s you can do in store pickup
May be they want you to just stick with "Amazon" app.
They dont need the posh app users.. head down to the nearest warehouse, buy sh*t in bulk and grab a $1.5 hot dog on your way out while you push your ginormous cart .. Thats what costco is all about and they are rocking it ..
Yeah 🌭 or 🍕
Nailed it. The Costco app is hot garbage Update, I’ve tried many times to use the app and have just been really freaking annoyed. The Kroger / Fred meyer app is getting better - has some room for improvement.
