Netflix has seen its valuation crushed with new players like Disney+ and HBO Go coming into the fold. This isn't too far off from what's going on in the EV space. With almost every major automotive company becoming major EV players in the coming years (BMW, Ford, Kia, Volkswagen, Porsche just to name a few) and even promising new companies like Rivian coming in, Tesla could find itself in a similar situation. Yes they have their existing supercharging network, FSD L2 (lol), and battery tech, but is that enough? #tesla #rivian #bmw
Check Tesla earnings
New EVs are like 5 years behind of Tesla. Bolt EV only gets like 259 mi range 🤡. Porsche taycan only gets 212 mi 🤡. Rivian r1t has nice 292 mi, but still behind.
Tesla is 40 years behind in QC and build quality 🤡 Bolt EV has no panel gaps 🤡 Porsche taycan doesn’t sit in the shop for 3 months when you dent the fender 🤡 rivian rt1 doesn’t crash itself into pedestrians 🤡
I think so. Teslas edge is in tech not building cars. I heard car enthusiasts shitting on their build quality. Other car manufacturers are entering the market quickly and aggressively so i think there will be a shift in a couple of years.
valid point. I love Tesla, but Tesla in China isn't super competitive compared to other Chinese EV makers like NIO or Xpeng, which have equally good (if not better) tech and build quality. Tesla is still at the top in China due to its marketing effort, but not so untouchable like it is in the US. Why is Tesla still untouchable in the US? I feel the US EV makers haven't reached the maturity yet. They will just as Chinese EV makers did.
I’m predicting EV F150 is gonna wreck cybertruck in sales, and that’ll be the start of Tesla’s decline in EV market share in the US
Why? Tech -> FSD
If the other brands are able to catch up to Tesla in the EV production next couple of years is irrelevant. Tesla is close to solve FSD and more efficient batteries and these are the edge for Tesla and the other brand won’t be able to catch up in 10 years. BTW I don’t own a Tesla.

You just have missed their earnings report
P/E 205 🤡🤡🤡
@msft - that PE is using the data before the earnings report lol. Once PE gets updated to reflect $7.37 from the updated previous 12 month GAAP EPS it'll drop to 137. Aggressive trend downward no? also careful weighing PE so high on growth, amzn early on had a PE 3700, and fb 1400.
