Coupang interview experience

I applied for a Staff ML role. I would have a coding round. When I did the phone screening a high rank member of the team asked me about past experience at Meta etc. Then no coding assessment. Only ML questions about models etc. I did really well. Even he was impressed and asked me about where else I have applied and my timeline. Then two days later I received a generic email that they will not move forward with my application. Wtf is wrong these days? Like you pass an interview and then it is a fail. Wtf
