Coursera's great :) I interned there a little while ago. Really great culture imo
I just accepted an offer from Coursera. Their culture is what hooked me versus the competing offers i had.
I'm interviewing there soon. How's the comp? Higher than msft? Culture and product/vision seems pretty sweet and worth taking a pay cut for...
What's the package like if you don't mind sharing?
I'm guessing for 'normal' offers, they'd be less comp on base and more in the RSU side of things. Just a guess though.
It's actually more base + some stock options
Is their comp comparable to other major startups like Airbnb, etc? Do they offer in percentage or number of options?
Is coursera considered a startup? Are they turning a profit?
One of ex colleague is there now. He speaks very highly of Coursera culture, people and mission. He is loving it there.
What is the salary like?
He mentioned they are pretty competitive. Can match some of best places in the valley.
What I heard from a friend is it has lot of ex-LinkedIn employees. So too many LinkedIn references
Are they doing well? I got an offer two years ago
