I see via Linkedin swathes of very green, bootcamp devs are being hired by this company Cox Automotive. I’m interested in how that works out for them, anyone able to give insight?
Terrible for me. I could see some teams might be better but absolute nonsense from my perspective. My team is filled with folks who have zero drive to grow or learn. Skill apathy is a killer here. With that being said, I do think that I have learned some stuff by my own drive and motivation and it’s putting me in a decent place to find another role.
Definitely a situation where u get out what u put in. Some people have dedicated themselves to their craft and become good SWEs, but just as many who skate by. This is mostly because of relatively low expectations and non-confrentational culture. Honestly, gives a lot of freedom to learn what you want and become as good as you want to be. There are good resources to learn from if you know where to look.

Does it make sense to move back to India for Indian techs in the US without a Greencard?
I know someone who closely fits your description. Their experience has been great so far.
