Help Between Two Offers: WP Engine / Intuit
Hey Blind, Currently evaluating two offers and need some outside opinions. Offer 1: WP Engine Software Engineer Base - $115k Equity - 6000 shares in the company, 4 year vest period $500 WFH stipend Fully remote Offer 2: Intuit SWE 1 Base - $115k Sign on bonus - $15k Equity - $63k RSU, 4 year vest period Moving to hybrid model, 2 days, potentially starting mid January I really like both companies and offers. WPE would be more back end focused and Intuit would be more front end focused with still some back end work. I’ve kinda been feeling like I want to transition to more front end work as I progress in my career so Intuit’s role has an edge on me there. I did really want a fully remote role as my first option so WPE has an edge but wasn’t fully opposed to hybrid if the offer is right. It sounds like you know what you want, WPE. Go for it. This early in your career it's more about getting somewhere that will allow you to learn and grow than it is about dollars. The fully remote is a huge perk. I've been doing that for seven years now, would never go back to an office. Especially with an hour commute, that will weigh in you
