Creative design in corporate environment, is it possible?
Is it possible to have positive, well thought through, cohesive design work done in a corporate environment? After working in multiple tech companies I get the feeling I'm just trying to please a manager's personal taste so that they look good to their manager.

Apple's design seems pretty cohesive
The only valuable type of ‘design’ in tech, outside of marketing and engineering, is Product Design. Good product design requires creativity but your question is so vague that I’m not ever sure this answer is relevant.
