Credit cards?
I have Discover and Apple Credit card right now. What other options I have for better points, perks and discounts? I am on F1 Visa(OPT) TC 267k

Amex platinum for travel Amex gold for everyday dining
All fun and games until a restaurant you like doesn't take Amex

I would start with the chase cards (sapphire reserve) and ink business since they’re limited by the 5/24 rule. After, I’d recommend going into the Amex ecosystem with the plat and gold. Would also recommend you get the best sign up bonus possible since you can only get the sign up bonus once per lifetime per card I’ve actually gotten a TON of value from amex and am converted lol. After getting my SUB for these cards I’ve since moved on to the Hilton cards, aspire is an easy keeper card (Diamond status, free night certificate per year, $250 flight incidental credit, $250 hotel credit), and the surpass has an elevated sign up bonus going on right now (150k points) A lot of better options than what you have now. FWIW my workhorse and daily driver is amex gold- 4x groceries and 4x dining. DM if you need a referral, have one for 90k SUB

Does it need a chase bank account?
No, and I think #ReadyForWork means Chase Sapphire Preferred. The American Express Gold Card is a nice option.
