Had initial screener that went great with recruiter. Had first interview with HM - went over time and got “great feedback” per recruiter followup. Had team panel interview with direct reports and felt like it went great and went past time allotment. Been 5 business days since the last interview. Emailed recruiter for followup on 3 business days past last interview with no response yet. Internal contact says recruiters are slow at CrowdStrike. It’s Christmas season so assuming a lot of people OOO and slow downs will happen. Any feedback on process and clues I have so far? Current TC: $210 Senior IT Mananger/15 yoe Interviewing for Director role. #interview #crowdstrike #tech
How much TC are you expecting at crowdstrike as Director?
~400K/yr for 4yrs and then a cliff.
~$385 in Austin area. My primary importance is always base.
I got a verbal offer a couple of weeks back, today HR emailed saying the position went on hold and they are currently on a hiring freeze.
Exactly same experience in my case. After last round, recruiter was silent. This happened early December. Very unprofessional. If they don't want yo move forward then atleast send rejection email.
I think most hiring outside of very select roles are frozen. I actually think a Director would be an exception though so I think it's likely the holidays has everything moving slowly.
Do you think signed offers can be impacted? I should join in February
Lots of people are on PTO to the end of the month and even into January. DM me your name and recruiter I'll try to help anyway
210k for a director is too low.

Crossed a line with my boss
Crowd strike had a Layoff recently. Source : linkedin post that i saw recently
Only team/org that was cut was Talent/Recruiting as company has been very public about wanting to slow our hiring vs what we did in 2022. Rest of the company wasn't affected except just a few people. So definitely not a layoff as only a few dozen were impacted
Few dozens is understatement. Number of people laid off is definitely into hundreds.
