Which one is better in your opinion? Why? Tc 300k

Their entire offer relies on equity, for which they have no real plan for how to become profitable/become public
Cruise doesn’t have customers and perhaps won’t for several years. It means zero revenue. Its biggest investor is GM which has no expertise in software and its engineering is inferior to Japanese and German. No 1 is Waymo and there are cars out there by Tesla as wellZ Just like Lyft is behind Uber. Lyft provides liquid stock. Hence, Cruise stock should be discounted by more than 2x. IPO requires solid revenue for years which Cruise won’t have for years. I don’t think it can go for IPO. Besides there are other companies like Aurora etc which already put the commercial autonomous trucks on the road.
This post is kinda misinformed so not sure where to start. I guess: - GM has 0 involvement with cruise software engineering - I think you need to read up more on the state of various players in the AV industry. However, obviously I'm biased. - Yes, Cruise IPO will be a long way away, I would estimate 7-10 years. We tend to bias towards cash heavy offers because of this.
Microsoft, you know nothing
OP it depends on what you want. From what I've seen Cruise has stronger engineering culture than Lyft, and more interesting technical challenges to solve. However, it's also a pre-product company so if you value a safe public company then Lyft would be preferable.
I do want a strong engineering culture. I want to get to the next level in my career and would appreciate more growth opportunities.
Then join Cruise while we are going through Hypergrowth which creates heaps of learning opportunity
Definitely Cruise

Why no one cares about the lives lost in Gaza, Israel and busy in their own lives?
Lyft is more established, Cruise is fairly new but are hiring like crazy. I'd be curious to hear what people say about them
