Cruise Automation ghosted?

I finished my final rounds about a month ago. I've reached out twice to the recruiters over the past two weeks and have heard nothing. Recruiter told me they'd get back to me after the holiday (Thanksgiving). What do I do now? πŸ˜” #cruiseautomation #cruise

Wait, send a follow up after 4th Jan and keep applying.

That's odd. We were on a huge hiring spree over Thanksgiving! Can you share details? Maybe DM if you prefer

Happened to me in last Nov-Dec. They eventually made an offer. I think 45-60 days after the final round of interviews

I have a low opinion of many Cruise middle managers. One HM I worked with doesn’t respond to internal requests for elaboration on their reqs and provides no guidance for their own interviewers. Makes me wonder if they’re just waiting for the next vesting date or are maybe keeping a seat warm for some of their lackeys.

Same deal - huge bummer, self driving was one of the few missions I’m naturally motivated behind and re-building middleware to duck rti has been my calling for a decade

Same with me. I was passed around between three different recruiters each of whom said they'd get back to me and none of them ever did. I finally had to track down and reach out to the hiring manager directly. Turns out they made an offer to somebody else and we're waiting for them to reply.

I interviewed this summer, got verbal offer, accepted, and it took weeks for them to get me one in writing. Blown off by the recruiter a dozen times, they skipped scheduled calls and generally made me think they would renegg, then finally got their shit together and hired me. Just be patient. It sucks. Give the recruiter a shit review after you've started and the recruiter no longer has power over you.

Was there any negotiations that you had to do? What’s your offer? N level?
