I was being sarcastic when I said we can take our dear time. Competition is good and it is/was forcing Google to move fast and get out of its comfort zone.
Also with cruise messing up it'll add even more pressure and scrutiny on waymo to be perfect.

isnt Gemini just delayed too? Google's top AI talents (e.g transformers authors) leaving left right and center, so it's not all going well for Google either
