100% Lyft. I would happily ignore tc to a great extent for Lyft. They're on a mission that few can compete to successfully complete.
Lyft looks good considering it will most probably go public. Can I know your title?
SDE 2. Updated the post
I would take cruise automation.
Cruise for sure. I looked at lyft too but a few things made the choice easy.
What made it easy? How do you like cruise so far?
Mainly Issues at Lyft (and especially with the teams I was offered). Bigger career opportunity after working in AV space. Lot more relatively certain upside on that equity. Cruise can be crazy with hyper growth, but so far I love it
Definitely cruise
Cruise cash bonus is guaranteed money. The others rely on them IPOing (but yeah, Lyft will go liquid)
The recruiter told me that the bonus is “up to X” in the official offer letter. Do you know if it’s always paid out at 100% target?
Yes it's always paid as long as you have "meets expectations" performance
location? no annual cash bonus in lyft? Lyft looks good.
No annual bonuses in Lyft I've seen so far.
A lot depends what you want to work on. Cruise started earlier. Most interesting projects are already owned. There are more career opportunities in places that are in early phase.
Congratulations Lyft seems to be better overall both offer and future prospects. How long have you been with Amazon?
Just more than a year.
Lyft in sf or Palo Alto?
