Crypto Companies Prospects / Binance?
Recently approached by a Binance recruiter. Given the crypto winter everyone is witnessing, Binance surprisingly seems to continue to play aggressive with their hiring like Coinbase did last year and the founder SEEMS to know what he's doing. Looking at the fundamental, the concern is whether they have enough $ to burn for the expansion and to survive the crypto winter without being forced to cut the year end bonuses / do a big round of layoff if the market does not turn around soon enough. Humbly asking, what's your view on the prospect of this company or this industry in general for the next year or two? how may (or may not) Binance differ from Coinbase? #crypto #binance #coinbase #engineering
Coinbase ftx and binance are safer compared to all others but of course they are not like Google safe
wondering how binance may be doing differently than coinbase in their business model. one is hiring and the other is laying off
Coinbase wants to be on the right side of regulators (I feel their strategy is to appease regulators over customers) while binance seems to disregard regulatory grey areas completely and to some extent exposing customers to a higher regulatory risk. Both strategies have a place in the current crypto not sure about the future as much.
We're still good at Dapper Labs, haven't slowed down hiring and doesn't seem like we will tbh
seems like some crypto companies are more resilient than many others despite the market slowdown huh
I was gonna post this morning, maybe joining crypto companies is not a safe move in this market🫢. Some NFT startups will also crash similarly in future.
true job secuirity is my concern. next is a big portion of tc in the case of binance is bonus which i'm not sure how much will be affected by the market
