This is exciting news. This will eventually trickle down towards all cities. King County employees were supposed to follow Microsoft's lead. https://komonews.com/news/local/seattle-city-hall-return-to-office-employee-directive-council-president-sara-nelson-memo-four-days-a-week-june-24-fully-implemented-sps-summer-vacation-covid-period-of-transition-legislative-department-hybrid-downtown#
Make the horrible traffic even worse, nice move.
You couldn’t pay me enough to commute to the office 1 day a week, let alone 4. This is especially true in downtown Seattle, which is a safety risk in itself. If companies are going to force people back to the office, then there should be extra pay involved for not only the cost of the commute, extra costs associated with going to the office, and hazard pay for having to possibly deal with crime and a lack of safety.
