One of the best places I worked at. Some argue it’s “too nice” but I don’t think there is such a thing. Being decent and respectful to your colleagues is my top priority
Wow, “too nice” is great to hear! Have you also worked at Amazon? If so, do you mind if I DM you?
Do you have any team recommendations? What do you think about Marketing Tech vs Trust Experience?
Anything would be better than Amazon based on what I have heard. Airbnb is a great company to work for. Leadership is empathetic and really cares about you. Lot of tech debt so great opportunity to solve for. Though it's a 100B company, startup culture is still inbuilt and we try to keep that alive.
Love this. Thanks for your comment!
What’s your role? It highly depends on role + team
My role is pretty niche, so I’d rather not say here— but would be happy to DM if you have an experience you’d like to share
Do you have any team recommendations? What do you think about Marketing Tech vs Trust Experience? for web.
It can be a fantastic place to work, but there are ugly sides. It’s largely team dependent. The company speak is extremely nice and welcoming, but some weaponize it. When you interview, pay close attention. For many, they really are wonderful, but if you land in a bad group, you get whiplash from the positive corporate speak being used against you. I recommend it generally, just want to make sure you keep an eye out.
I agree with above and I am experiencing being in a bad team
Thanks for this note! Can I DM you?
I wouldn’t say the best but definitely better than most of other tech companies out there
Appreciate this— thanks!
Definitely a bad place, especially for people coming post IPO. Lots of rest and vesters with triple your TC. Company is still political af
I don’t mind working with rich people :) but I could see how that might create a divide among new post-IPO employees. Could you speak a little more to the political nature of the company?
Political here means he/she is terrible at human connection. The same person has posted the most negative and toxic posts in internal Blind. You always have those in every company
