Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
How is the culture at Credit Karma? In general, is it a good place to work? How is the dynamic with Intuit? Are the two companies kept separate, or are CK employees basically intuit employees? Is the business doing well/good time to join?
I think it depends heavily on the team you are on at CK. Some teams are toxic and there are more people moving from intuit to ck, which is introducing more boot licking behavior and expectations in order to progress.
I moved from Intuit to CK and feel terrible about it. CK folks think high of themselves in a bad narcissistic way.
Wanna help a random girl out? Credit Karma referral would be 👌 right now.
“in general” it is good, but that’s a pretty broad question. Intuit has been mostly hands off, but it’s slowly (and expectedly) changing - especially given the current credit climate. Unless you are fairly senior (director+) you’re unlikely to have much direct impact from Papa Sasan’s mothership. Our benefits, titling, and pay structure are entirely separate from Inuit, which mostly works in our favor - no ESPP or mega back door Roth are the main things we miss out on, but our TC tends to be higher and health / other benefits better. The number of openings should tell you what you need to know about performance and how swell the business is doing…
It’s a fake “we are all happy” culture with lots of incompetent managers. Things are going south and work life balance has become terrible the last few months! Used to be a great place to work, not anymore.
May I ask your job function?
CK business is not doing well as compared to other products of Intuit. What do you expect credit card deal matching business unit do in high interest rate env? Culture wise, it is better than intuit because CK operates autonomously like LinkedIn even tho LinkedIn is part of Microsoft and pay is slightly better too. And yes, it’s a good place to work. Not toxic like Amazon
Mind if I ask what your role was and when you left?
