Curious question. Why do you need snapchat if you already have instagram account ?

Oh you think it is not being logged? It is only for users messages and pictures disappear, but I am sure they archive everything. Also because of expectation everything goes away, people have been reckless. Which means that snap is probably the largest collection of dickpics on the planet.

Personally everyone I know stopped using snapchat in favour of insta. It’s completely dead at least in my circles. If your product could be a subset of another bigger product you’re probably going to fail...

Instagram is mostly about consuming curated content where influencers are in a constant rat race for likes. While Snapchat is a communication tool with your close friends and family with real time moments. Can't really compare the two. You should be comparing Instagram with Tiktok
Snapchat is more for shitposting to close friends than showing off on story with everyone you’ve ever met. Different uses
Instagram is YouTube Snapchat is Xtube
