Anyone have any idea? Not sure how to look this up on USCIS site. I'm considering moving to US on an L1A, but don't want to me tied up with the same company for ever and don't want the H1B uncertainties either. So might move to Canada to the UK instead.
I am no expert but you can start looking at Visa Bulletin every month, specifically Employment Preference category https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2019/visa-bulletin-for-september-2019.html If you file now, I think it will take you at least 3 years to file Adjustment of Status and at least 2 more (final action date) to get your Greencard. So you are looking at at least 5 year wait. For accurate information, please reach out to your company lawyer.

EB1 for Indians should take about 12-18 months. L1A is the best way to move to US and get a green card. I did this through Microsoft, and it's a bless compared to EB2 which takes forever for Indians.
Thanks everyone. Very helpful, mostly :) I guess I was looking for the Visa bulletin after all. The USCIS has a site for wait times as I mentioned, but wasn't sure what I should be looking at, and there was no country level background and generic wait times.
Last heard, the EB1 for Indians had retrogressed. But why don't you ask your company lawyers, they should be able to point you to the right source.
People says 6yrs minimum if you file now in eb1
EB1 "unavailable", not even retrogressed for Indians. All the 90k managers @ WITCH fucked up this category too.
Witch?
Think of it as the FAANG for Indian "techies"
What category of eb1 r u applying? And tc?
L1A, so a manager
Yes that's right, I am still thinking between places to transfer to, so TC which is currently for India will change
