Transitioning into tech after working in local government for 7 years and I’m interviewing for a training program manager role at TikTok, based in Seattle. I’ve been doing some research on levels.fyi but I’m still not exactly sure what compensation range I should be targeting. The listed base salary range on the job listing is between $108,088 to $196,544. Was thinking about targeting for $160,000 base salary + bonus/stocks since I do have relevant experience from my time in the public sector. Is that too high, low, about right?
Ask for the highest salary It’s a private coming so any stocks are just paper money
