Got an offer for a SR EM role in coupa.. Pay offered seems very low. Asking to see if this is really the coupa levels? Base 225k Bonus 15% Sign on 35k Stock 145kfor 3 years Yoe : 14 Current TC: 340k Recruiter says this is max they offer. This is after 2 rounds of negotiation. I love that team I interview for but this is really a disappointing offer. I got into first call long ago in April where the pay said was different. Then they stopped hiring for this role and got back to me again couple weeks back and I thought they would stick to numbers agreed before. But it looks like this month they underwent a massive rsu change and this is max across board. I soft rejected the offer but recruiter keeps pushing saying they can bump in any one component 5-10k more but that’s about it. How are the refreshers, yearly increases, and stock growth? Thoughts? Can they push more? Good team and work they do that’s why not able to throw back., same time don’t want to take a pay cut. Thanks in advance. #tech #coupa #senior em
Steer clear. Horrible internal culture
I would suggest the same. Steer clear. Awful cultish like culture. Very average leadership.
At OP what did you end up doing rejecting the offer?
Yea I rejected the offer.
Funny that SAP and ServiceNow talk about culture.
Because there actually is one, even though SAP seems to be suffering a bit with that at this point.
Reject. Coupa is going private. No big upside and cash only offer is the worst you have to pay 40% taxes as is. No concept of tax benefit whatsoever
Twilio is next, bro
Lol I won't be surprised and if we make it to 120 atleast I will call it truce and move on. In this environment cash can go long way. I am totally in sympathy with you not being an ahole. I know how much it pains when you put sweat and blood and you have no say in life changing decisions like these. Hang in there good times are ahead
Reject . You might accept now but will regret in a few months because of low pay. Won’t look good on resume to see a short stint as a Sr. EM
Recruiter says to bank on stock growth. Seems they came down from $400 to $60 their financials looks great not sure if it can go back to $300s..
