Cyber security / network security

Hello Blinders , Are there any cyber security or network security experts or engineers in here who can advise . I am a systems administrator for over a decade experience . Unix, windows , VMware, microservices etc is my main area of work. Planning to get into network security or cyber security as I believe my strengths are in troubleshooting and securing the environments . Question : can you advise how to start getting into cyber security / network security job market. I am looking to work on building my security skillset for 6 months to an year and then look for a job change in there . Doesn't matter if I start as a fresher but wanted to get there . Should I start joining a school and get a degree or should I do some trainings and get certified ? Please advise if you can. TC : 170
