Sharing my interview experience with Zoominfo for a senior devops engineer role. - A zoominfo senior HR expressed a lot of interest in my profile. He quickly scheduled a call with a director within a day and with the hiring manager within next 2 days. - Both the discussions went well, and HR shared a great feedback. Both was mostly around my current role, tools and my level of expertise. - After waiting for couple days, HR came back asking for technical round availability within couple of hours of notification. (Honestly this kind is first time for me). But I couldn’t able to accommodate it and moved to another day. - Technical round was more detailed and I didn’t really feel hard about that. HR again shared some great feedback within a day. And mentioned he will call me next day after talking to the managers. Then I got to wait for 3 days to hear that they found another better candidate. During this time I followed couple of times but heard nothing. HR said he was out sick. I wasted my time expecting an offer after receiving positive feedback ( not sure if HR exaggerated it, GOSH!) . Im sure anything can be expected but is there anything better they can do. I wonder why some HR people poorly handle things in the name “Tactics” A lesson learned, be aware of such Companies #zoominfo #tech
So sad
Stay away, not a great culture tbh
You dodged a bullet.
I’m interested to hear more
Yeah, HR is a disaster here. You get no response for days or weeks and have to push for updates on questions. Plus there are just too many engineers for their products and revenue.
Zoominfo recruiter scheduled a call with me, which went well and then I was scheduled for a call with HM. Day before the interview it got cancelled because “there was a change in the requirements.”
