Got a 115k senior engineer offer in new orleans. No stocks or relocation. This is sooooo weird. They didn’t even interview me. Only spoke once with the recruiter about background. And one week later they provide an offer with H1-b visa transfer. What the fuck kind of company is it? Granted the offer is 30k above my current comp. Is it worth moving there? Even if for 1yr. I notice from several posts that company has horrible reputation with layoffs. Can someone working in New Orleans office ping me? Yes I’m an indian. Once I received the offer, i read several posts on here and wanted to confirm with the recruiter. Recruiters email address “undeliverable” 😂😂😂
New Orleans is awesome, though
Company sucks but a 35% raise is not bad. I had a similar situation when I applied a little over two years ago(at that time it was CSC), no interview either. Although my gig is a WFH, so a little more simple than just up and moving. This is funny because I accepted an offer last week and I'm currently in waiting room, for drug test/finger print.
I can’t get past the fact that they did not interview me for any coding assessment. It makes me think I would not be working on anything coding related. Are you also based in NOLA?
You will be coding. Nope, I work from home in upstate NY.
Don’t do it!
It's probably a manager with an open rec who is desperate to fill it before the end of the fiscal year, when it will evaporate.
Can u refer me
Hi, have you had any chance to do research on this. I have received offers from this company, same location.
I got the offer 1 month back. I asked them for clarifications as to what the job entails? What team I will be working on? If there is annual reviews. They never replied back. I would say don’t accept until they clear out all doubts.
I don't think it would be worth the move. Might just be a bad experience on your resume. Considering the company has a horrible reputation.
