Folks… need some honest advice here . I recently accepted L4 offer for Data Engineer from Google . I am experienced in aws tech stack , SQL and python . I have 8 more weeks to join google . I want to spend this time usefully to prepare so I can Survive , shine and thrive at google , Should I focus on GCP or any other skills ? Could you guys suggest me how to spend my time wisely so I can ramp up faster . YOE: 8 TC : 260 k Location : CA
Technical perspective, To be a good de, you need good understanding of business logic, and skill set wise, you will build it up through using internal too. Don’t worry too much!
Appreciate your mindset! Putting a few things out there Bigquery, GCP iam, flume, Protobuf. There should be a lot external resources if you want to learn.
