Recruiter reached out for a DE role under infra software and services team. The role involves building big data platforms and distributed systems for analytics platforms. 1. Does anyone know what the interview process would look like. I have not worked on distributed systems, is it even worth a try? 2. Recruiter asked for references, is anyone willing to provide me that? I can share my details over pm.
This is not the first time someone asked me for references. Hedge funds ask all the time, so do insurance companies. It wasn't so common in tech though
The interview is super easy, its more of a conversation than an evaluation
