Do they have positions in Seattle? I applied online and will have an intro call with them. Do they screen at this stage ? If they do what are the things I should look out for? I work on pretty boring stuff in MS will it be held against me? I love their products and teams so want to make sure things go as well as possible.
We don’t have engineering positions in seattle presently. There is at least one salesperson there but they travel everywhere anyway. There might be engineering there in the future though. I am sure you have heard of the azure partnership by now? Intro call is basically nothing. You will talk to one of our recruiters. First screening is a technical phone call with a boringass coding question. And then coding assignment and onsite. Onsite is most likely in sf though. If you want to know more about the engineering teams you can pm me. I don’t know too much about sales and the other teams.
If you did boring things in MS, they would probably wanna dig into your side projects or something?
