Which one of these has the best stock growth potential?
Figma for sure
Why so?
Hard disagree. Figmas valuation to revenue ratio is pretty high right now. They’re clearly dominant in the space, but the path to 2-5x means new product lines.
Did you get offers in all these
I had offers for all 3 recently, imo figma/airtable, databricks still has upside but not as much given its valuation and maturity. Figma recently raised money going from 2 ->10b, but it’s still a rocket ship imo. Amazing potential. Airtable as well though imo has great potential :) (hence why I joined)
Haha that’s interesting given the poll results. Why did you pick Airtable besides the the upside?
I too had offers from all 3 and accepted airtable (starting soon). Airtables recruiting process was the most respectful one I’ve experienced. People seem great. And I’m starting to see the product take off everywhere. Go search your internal corp groups at Facebook. You’ll see growing airtable adoption chatter.
Databricks can do what… double? Triple? Not a lot of upside. I just took the airtable offer. Go look at Monday / asana stock to see the short term potential. Then look at service now to see where it could really go.
Is this generally a good way to look a potential though? Or does it just mean that the productivity market may be saturated by competitors? In another sense, would you say similarly like we can look at snowflake for databricks’s short term potential?
Databricks folks definitely look to snowflake and expect to eat their lunch. Airtable has a platform that no one else does. It’s a question of whether they can build the right vertical and spread in companies.
Airtable, as long the company can handle the growth. So. Much. Potential. Maybe I drank too much koolaid though. But dm for referrals 😄
I’m surprised Databricks has the most votes but no one is specifying why, does anyone have any thoughts on this lol
Surprised too. Everyone is talking about the other options
I rejected Databricks because everyone in the interview seemed to be overworked and stressed. Just the general vibe I got. I’ve had enough of that from the pandemic and I really don’t need to take it up a notch. Hope you guys do well, though!
I joined airtable because I felt the interview process was unique and the culture is super CHILL 😂 of course the Market cap for this product can grow several folds with 5.77b 💯assured!
Isn’t airtable in a super crowded and competitive space? And it’s not even a leader yet.
It’s a weird space. Unlike Brex vs Ramp each company is doing something quite different. It’s a space where I wouldn’t say there’s a clear leader. Sales force and Service now are the bigger targets. If airtable can’t crack the space then no one can IMO. They’re doing a lot of great work building verticals on top of their sheet-like DB.

Will Tesla’s layoff trigger over all market layoff?
if the engineers at figma could pull it off, maybe turn their design tool into a no code application, or instead of just design -> CSS, do design -> react/angular/vue JS code; tons of automation opportunity for them
i know there’s applications like Bravo that do this but if only figma could in house or acquire it…
