hello databricks current or former employees...can you share your experiences about culture, work life balance, compensation, traction, etc. would greatly appreciate candid and honest feedback thanks
100b is a very stretching goal
Thanks star agree on manager point. Could you elaborate a bit on work life balance? And if possible your thoughts on marketing team?
Work life balance depends heavily on many things such as your commute to SF and how much you have to learn to do your job. With rapid growth comes many challenges that need to be overcome. Not any different than companies going through a growth spurt.
In terms of comp for a Director or Sr Director do you know total comp and percent equity?
Great company, culture, potential overall. Possibly a $100B company in 10 years. Say bye bye to work-life balance. May improve in the future. As with any other company your experience will mostly dependent on your manager and the one above. Company founders and CEO are the best!
I saw some initial members left.
