Got offers from #stripe and #bloomberg. Expecting one from #datadog too. All these are for #london location My reason for leaving FB is WLB and TC crash post stock market. I joined just before the crash, so got RSU at its highest price. #stripe: L3, 120k GBP, 90k USD equity per year = 192 GBP #bloomberg: SSE, 188k GBP per year Datadog offer expected around similar lines, maybe slightly lower. Stripe seemed like they could go a bit higher, particularly in equity. I am a bit mindful about Stripe considering current market situation, although the recruiter claims UK hiring is going at full tilt. Any opinion on this from Blind Stripers? There is also a question mark on the equity price for Stripe considering they are not listed. Which offer to choose? I am even fine with slightly lower TC is that means, I am working for 6 hours a day instead of 10. I have heard great things about Bloomberg WLB, good things about Datadog WLB and mixed things about Stripe Edit: forgot that datadog are listed. YOE: 9.5
Considered Amazon? Just joking.

Datadog is publicly listed.
You are right. Somehow, I was thinking of databricks ipo situation. Corrected
Your Stripe L3 offer is a bit low if Bloomberg can get that close to it. See if you can ask for a higher base?
Yes. I think stripe can potentially increase base by 10-20k and equity by 30-40k per year. Even the recruiter seemed like he had left door open for negotiations. Although my stripe interview performance was not stunning

How long have you been at Meta for now?
I'm assuming you're moving from a higher TC than this at Meta for better WLB? WLB wise, I don't think anything will beat Bloomberg. Not sure about Stripe and Datadog
Meta TC was similar at grant price, and significantly lower now
How can WLB be so good at Bloomberg if they require commuting to the office? Seems like a red flag

OP, quick question, did you provide references for Stripe? I am in that stage at the moment and wanted to check what to expect if you were asked?
Not yet.
Reference check is used only for L4+, I think. I might be wrong. From my references, this is what I saw - It's a 20-min or so call but pretty standard. It's primarily used by the manager to get data points on anything that was a mixed signal or a gap in your interviews, to make sure your current experience is at the right level for the new role and maybe one or two questions on behavioural that might have particular relevance to working in the team you've matched. This was my reading of the process atleast. Your references should know some of your recent work at a high-level but not necessarily in depth. If you can't provide the right manager reference, the recruiter told me they're flexible but I didn't ask what that meant.
