Datadog vs Deloitte
Hey team, I’m in the process of deciding between datadog & Deloitte for the exact same role. It’s actually a much harder decision than expected. Let me know your input! Deloitte is such an established firm & datadog is newer but such a growing company with good culture. TC is similar to both 130k range with 15% bonuses for Deloitte & 45k rsu for datadog

Datadog is a crappy tier 5-6 company as well. The answer is neitherX
Tc is great and the stock is doing ok too . I see some good talent leaving faang and joining them . Why do you say it’s that bad?
No one ever leaves faang for datadog willingly (with the exception of Amazon of course). No one. TC is much-much lower, the product is much less exciting, and the brand value is not there)
Actually I remember many ex fang working there.. Check LinkedIn..If I remember right the head tech guy was from Google
Yes sometimes people get fired and have nothing better to do and join a less known company at lower comp, that’s okay.
I guess not taking sides. I never worked there just hung out at the office for various meetings/ events.
Hopefully this poll didn't affect your offer with Datadog! They rescinded my offer for doing the same.
