There is a reason all these YouTube influencers sell courses instead of focusing on trading.
90% of day traders fail. I did buy a course on EDX last year taught by David Green and Peter Tuchman. I was fairly successful last year doing it, but you really need to have a strong stomach
What is fairly successful in % return rates and are you still doing it?
I mean everyone is different. Despite that I day trade, I’m genuinely risk averse. A good day for me would be like 3% return in a day, but because you’re doing to lose more than you win, targeting a weekly return of .75% - 1% is actually okay for me, especially after compounding my gains. So if you do that a full year and that’s your average weekly return, you end up with a 46% annual return. I’m more than okay with that
