Delay start date or Accept and then quit?

Completed master's recently and accepted an entry-level SDET position from Cadence Design Systems, a month ago since I didn't have any interviews lined up back then. My start date is next week (Monday). For the last 2-3 weeks, I have been actively interviewing for SDE with 2 FAANG companies (Google and Apple) and Qualcomm - I have moved to the final onsite rounds with these companies. I will most likely be done with onsite rounds and hear back from these companies within 2 weeks. However, my EAD clock has already started (I am an int'l student). Should I start working at Cadence next week and continue interviewing? If all goes well, I might have to quit the job within 2 weeks. Or should I try to delay my start date? What do you think would be the repercussions of joining Cadence and leaving? A couple of reasons why I don't want to go to Cadence: (a) It is an SDET position and I am more interested in SDE. Plus, I received an entry-level offer although I have 2.5 YOE. (b) Pay is less. (TC: 140K). Thank you in advance! #faang #sde #tech

The processes at Google and Apple are really slow. It could take up to the order of months to go from final onsite rounds to starting a job. On top of that, you haven't even converted anything yet. Start at Cadence and leave when the other opportunities crystallize.
