Do you know how long is the maternity leave at Dell EMC? When does one become eligible after joining? How is the work life balance? PM role. #dellemc TC 195K
Also there’s a very well thought out guide (rare for us, I know) if you search Well at Dell for maternity leave. Only downside I can think of is if you are in a commission based role you only get base pay, no commission on deliveries during your leave.
How long were you working with Dell before you could take 5month leave? Do you have to be employed for a year? Is 5month standard or it depends on the manager/ department
You are eligible for the full paid leave after 1 year. I think just FMLA if you’ve been there less than a year.
Are you sure you need to complete a year?
You are eligible as soon as you're hired. I know at least one person who took leave a few months after being hired. For maternity leave you'll get 20 weeks and paternity leave you'll get 12 weeks. Good luck!
Thank you.
One caveat, your child must be born after your one year anniversary. Trust me I got burned on this one. Missed out on 12 week paternity leave

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
TC is very low compared to market, but that comes with work life balance. In maternity stage wud recommend join Dell and then leave for better career afterwards.
I’d have to agree, pay isn’t as competitive but healthcare and maternity are great. I took 5 months, full pay. Rare anywhere, even IT. FMLA will pay about 30% but Dell closes gap for a full 4-5 months (I also used vacation)
What is the market TC for PM? 6 years experience total experience. 8years. I’ve heard amazon pays similar to this.
