What’s the basic difference ? Seems like this is not an innovative company at all. Management M10 and above is entrenched in nepotism and watching out for each other. Toxic group think and aversion to innovation like it’s the new Covid. When will this old guard change or be forced out??
There’s are safe pockets, and sour patches, like any large organization.
Powerscale, powerflex, power max.. all great legacy emc orgs imho .. Im curious to hear where you see the aversion to innovation.. here or in dm ..
This company lacks any innovation whatsoever. Micromanagement, low pay, toxic culture , 0 advancement. Evaluate your life and know it’s a great job market out there.

There’re new initiatives, even in APAC but it’s just Dell. EMC is basically just ISG. I work on a new product line but am scared on the innovation and execution aspect - making offshored low paid devs make new products as a way to minimize costs is just sad. The directors treat the org as early retirement, simple as that although I think you can see it all comes from the very top management..
