CTO and director scheduled a meeting on a workday last week and announced that some divisions and products would be on hold in response to next year's recession. After the Christmas holiday (January 2023), all employees of the department will be laid off, and there are only about two weeks to prepare to leave. Members’ locations include the United States (CA), China, and Taiwan. (RD/PM people) If there any SW/FW opportunity, pls reach out me, thanks. #layoff
I feel like the way these companies are preparing for the recession, it may get scared away by the preparedness and may not even come 😂
Dell is earning a lot. So many laptops and other peripherals getting sold. Why are they laying off?
For fun
What’s the severance?
It’s business
Bad time to do it. Feel sorry about it OP.
Which products and which divisions are we talking about?
Under ISG, more than hundred employees will be impacted
Do you mean it’s going to be greater than 1000?
Had an offer in the ISG group for an executive role after interviewing for nearly 4 months, it was rescinded this week. Major lay off coming, even to those that recently got promoted. Luckily i never gave notice to my current employer.
Is that a director role of vp And higher. ?
Director role but its across the board. Even current VP's will be impacted
Any layoffs at Dell?
Sorry for that
