I have an SM offer with Deloitte Consulting in London and I have a few questions which I hope can be answered by the helpful lot on the forum here. 1). What's the average bonus like? Obviously the offer letter says the bonus is discretionary. 2). Is 13 weeks' notice for termination of employment standard? Sounds a bit steep, tbh. 3). What's covered under the benefits allowance pot? For e.g., can I use it to buy childcare vouchers? #deloitte
Tc please? Bonus is 5-10% of base salary. 13 weeks is negotiable. Its the same standard stuff that most companies do. deloitte is good with the pension match though. They contribute 8% max.
What is the pension contribution ratio between employee and Deloitte? 0:8?
It varies upon employee contribution but most ppl i know contribute 8% for 8% match
Curious to hear your offer. A former employee was heavily lowballed by Deloitte UK a few years ago- they couldn’t even match his current pay and we work for an outsourcer. Notice period is standard for SM level, btw.
Yes would be curious as well. I am in Deloitte US and was thinking of transferring to UK but not sure what comp looks like in UK Deloitte
Looks like shit, dont go to the UK for money
TC or GTFO
1) Bonus for SM is in the range of 25 - 35% of base pay. Base for SM is around £90-100k so £20-30k. It depends on which part of Consulting you are in (some do better than others) and the financial performance for the year 2) 13 weeks is a hangover from Audit. You can normally negotiate down to 8 weeks based on how well you get along with your Partner (spoiler alert: you should get along well with them anyways career wise) 3) Benefits is around £12.5k and covers everything you would expect: healthcare, childcare, bike to work, holidays (up to 10 more days), life insurance etc.
Base sounds right, bonus sounds really high. Not sure where you are getting the benefits from. Allowance for benefits is £6700 as SM
Are the annual benefits like a flexi bucket? For e.g can we allocate the full amounts towards redeeming childcare coupons ?
Man UK pay just hurts my soul.
@sEVx35 Ahh worried reading this 😞 expecting an offer as SC in Risk advisory- Yoe ~9 years. Moving from India to UK. So current comp is sort of irrelevant..nevertheless, What do you think would be a good deal I could target for ?
tc?
