Deloitte Lead DS vs a small firm Principal DS (Partner)

Hi Blinds, I received two offers and would love to get some input. Deloitte Lead DS(Senior Consultant) : 160k TC Internal, Remote, Minimum travel Small consulting firm Principal DS (Partner): 240k-280k TC (bonus vary) with 200k base , 10,000 shares equity ( no idea how much worth) , lead and managing a team. ~70 consultants, 10 partners focus on DS and analytics consulting. Remote with some travel. TC and title better in a small firm, but any point I should consider? 10 YOE, ~7 YOE in DS and analytics Thanks Blind!#datascience #dataanalytics #data

What’s your current TC? In your current role are you managing a team of data scientists or developing ML models as an IC?

140k and leading DS projects with a few DS+DE. Set direction of the project and stake holder management. 50% hands on, 50% project lead

If you are seriously considering Deloitte negotiate a title change to Manager. With your experience you could get it. That means larger sign on & comp package. Base comp will be ~$215k
