Deloitte Salary Negotiation
I’m in salary negotiation process with Deloitte need to check how many discussion can be done with HR /Recruiter they already bump up small amount $4K in my base CTC not on joining bonus but my gut feeling is saying there is still scope of negotiation but same time I don’t want my hiring manager don’t feel awkward any suggestions inputs will be appreciated #deloitte #salarynegotiation

Manager specialist is not senior consultant Manager is actually manager at Deloitte If your coming in as a specialist, then you're specialist senior . Some managerial scope but not a lot You can negotiate but not much more than they are offering unless you have ivy League MBA At which point you can get a base of 140 or 150

Dont join Deloitte seriously as a specialist. Are u into tech or machine lesrning? If so i would seriously suggest moving to tech i made the change never been happier. Deloittes a fucking piece of shit with crazy politics. Sucking up to the partner all the time no meritocracy
You must work on a crappy part of the firm bc, 1. There is politics everywhere, tech included, and 2. Sucking up to the partner, never have I done that, in fact, they have more respect for those that are easy to work with, bring value to the table, and make their decision making easier, all of which can be accomplished without "sucking up". If that's what you think it takes, then change projects - pretty simple.

I would think again before joining the Audit & assurance practice as a data specialist. Apart from the audit busy season, be ready to work on very mundane and standard processes. Very limited scope for any innovation or even application of basic analytics let alone AI/ML The pay is what u will get at DT. Don’t expect any miracles on the offer.
