I have salary negotiation next week for Senior Consultant position in Data and Analytics ( Data Engineer) Commercial offering. Any tips? What is the base salary Deloitte offering for SC position in current market? The location is not decided yet, I am flexible to relocate anywhere in US.
What was mentioned above is accurate. It would be in 130-150k range. You can ask for Sign on but in current market conditions I won't bet on it
Why would you ask , first one to give a number loses the negotiation . Let them give a number . Negotiate from there . You want around 170k base . Saying from experience . I don’t have an MBA either .
thanks guys for input. I will wait to hear from recruiter for the number and go from there and target 150k base To clarify i said 130-150 low compared my current TC 140k base with cognizant. But i want to get out of this shit project.
140 in cognizant ? Which position you hold there…? Senior manager or associate director ? If you below that and getting 140…. I can tell you lying. Without salary range confirmation no HR will proceed for your interview, not sure how you cleared all rounds without knowing salary range… let me guess you just trying to get in Deloitte not any interview cleared so far…. Without masters start from 120 if you want to get in here. If you not getting good project here, everyday will be like nightmare with pressure and so many surprise as well for culture difference. welcome in advance if you able to clear your HR round… 😉
Do you have an MBA? What was their initial offer? Seniors with MBA’s here typically make 160-180 in a “hot” market offering. If you don’t have an MBA expect to be in the 130-150 range. I recommend checking out levels fyi (https://www.levels.fyi/companies/deloitte/salaries/management-consultant/levels/senior-consultant) The range is all over the board depending on what your field is. Deloitte is also a location agnostic company - they don’t pay more based on where you live, so keep that in mind.
No i don't have mba. 130-150 is that a TC or base? Sounds very low.
