Deloitte - senior consultant role - Risk and Financial Advisory group They offered me $110k base and $15k joining bonus Should I negotiate?
I feel like Deloitte seriously underpays their workers . As a senior consultant working for a top 5 , I would imagine that they should bat $180,000+ for the role but that’s just my opinion .
New Jersey. HR said location is irrelevant. NJ or NY salary remains same, which doesn’t make any sense to me.
IMO, NJ and NY would be kinda similar, not NYC though. Also, offer seems low. Try giving them a competing offer

As an SC in NJ area, that is low. You should try and ask for more. Try to use a competing offer if you have one
150k+ and 15k joining bonus is good
For Senior Consultant in RFA that’s about as good as Deloitte will give. It’s sucks but it’s still hiring than I’m getting as a home grown senior. Deloitte pay is shit
Lowball offer for SC.Location is not a factor in Deloitte pay. Worth negotiating
You should negotiate- at least ask for 125K-130K
