I am interviewing a startup lying about my current salary. Because I have no other way to practice interviews, not getting calls after telling actual TC. I ofc dont wish to join them, but I am currently also in a startup, what would be safest way to deny the offer, I'm worried current company doesn't get to know any how. (Just to mention their HR asked me everything before even starting process, ok to relocate, current salary, expected etc.) TC: 1Cr #tech
Donât worry about these. Itâs always better to stay in interview loop and be professional. When firms donât even think of a second to lay off people , you arenât obliged to be super truthful about lying about your salary for interview purpose or interviewing externally for job security.
totally agreed, we should also use company for our purpose, but I just want to gracefully deny too.
Betichod 1 crore salary. What are you, CEO?
Chill. isnât that like G L5 salary? OP mustâve been a G L4 who left for a startup. Not clear if that TC includes a shit load of worthless paper money
How come an 1Cr salary surprises an amazon employee? đ§
I had a stroke trying to read this đ
sorry, but why?
how about, ânoâ?
but what would be the reason?
you donât need a reason. you arenât asking, youâre telling
RIP English?
It looks like English but it's definitely not English.
They are currently working at a start up A and interviewing at another one start up B I assume in India because the TC says 1 Cr. Start up B is just interview practice and the HR of B asked them all the questions like are you willing to relocate, what is your salary expectation... They just want to use the interview at B as practice and want to know how they can reject the offer without burning bridges.
