'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
50+% chance your whiteboard exercise will be creating a digital kiosk for renting boats. Tired of seeing this damn prompt in interview feedback loops. Also: lots of emphasis on behavioral questions for leadership principles, even more so than design ability. I've seen people with shitty design or product chops get hired simply because they gave good impression on leadership principles, and excellent designers/PMs get denied because of debatable performance/feedback on leadership principles. Seeing how we interview for both design and PM roles really reinforces in my mind how crappy Amazon is at both design and product. I'm likely leaving soon because of how low the bar here is for both.
Dang, looks like you're not too happy. But over all the design and the product is good there, right? Just maybe you're saying it's heading in a "Microsoft/Windows-esque" direction? (...no offense windows). Any tips for PM interviews?
