Have you ever worked on / made money from an independently made mobile game? What was the process like -- has it provided additional income in any way?
Doing it for fun - just fine. Doing it expecting to make a profit - you’ll have more luck playing the lottery.
games are like entertainment imo. very cyclical. fun to develop, but once the buzz dies (if it had any to begin with), you need to develop another game.
