Hi I have an azure cloud subscription and I wanted to host the open source Prometheus (not managed). I want to collect all the metrics from azure monitor to Prometheus and then use the grafana to visualise it . Below are my questions 1. I have planning to host the Prometheus on azure container apps 2. Do I need to create a Kubernetes cluster or just having docker image of Prometheus and Grafana and hosting them on container apps is fine? 3. I see there is Thanos or Cortex which is used for remote read and write . Where should I host these components ? Is it in a seperate container apps or bring it in the same namespace . 4. I am planning to store the data of Prometheus in azure container blob storage . 5. I am not sure of how to design like is it good to host as container apps or Kubernetes cluster Overall Idea is simple I have many resources on azure like azure databricks and others resource . I will push the metrics to azure monitor and I will need to scrape these metrics to Prometheus and visualize this grafana. I am confused on these Kubernetes or container apps approach ? Plz help me with your experience #engineering #devops
