I am a diehard gamer and I have been a huge fan of blizzard since it’s vanilla wow days. Played wow until the Warlords of Draenor and then quit because the game had lost its shine (atleast to me and my friends) by then. But then there was Diablo and Overwatch which made me come back to blizzard again and again. This is because Blizzard has always being an honest company that made awesome games and didn’t loot their players much like other studios like EA or Activision. Diablo Immortal however is just absolute disappointment, not because it’s a bad game.. it’s a smooth, very nicely made game which literally is aimed at looting its customers their last dollars to enjoy the game in its entirety. It’s shameless pay to win.. It’s so much not Blizzard way of working !! How can the developers at Blizzard even sign off on this ? This game is already banned in Europe, this should also be banned in USA because this is pure gambling, this is not video game in anyway form or manner.
Just play Diablo 2
Dota 2 true free to play game
It really was shocking, the same company made the decisions surrounding monetization for artifact. I really like that game. Such a shame
Diablo immortal will be more profitable than Diablo 3
It’s because games aren’t about selling copies anymore. Investors will mandate that the game needs to require micro transactions and a mobile release so we get the same shitty Fortnite business model grafted on to every single game whether it makes sense or not
Have you never played a phone game ? The game is literally free to play with hours of content, no one's forcing you to buy anything. Of course no one wants microtransactions but this isn't new, should have protested 10 years ago when they started this shit. It ain't changing anytime soon,we're all a bunch of addicts and you're screaming into the void
It’s also available to play on PC.
The monetization strategies here have been employed by multiple other mobile companies, Supercell, MiHoYo, etc. They’ve cast a very wide net to see what sticks, I would assume they plan that the bulk of the long term income is based on monthly recurrent revenue from the battle pass e.g. Clash Royale with the rest being variants of whale bait.
Also, when you stop being so entitled and whiny actually try the game. Yes, the p2w barrier is strong, but the game itself is not half bad. You will be surprised.
Entitled and whinny !! Not able to shell out hundreds and thousands of dollars equals to being entitled ?! Ok Gotcha 🤦♀️
You don't have to whale to enjoy a few hours of free content.
Not that I even care at this point since I'm leaving this shit company next week, but why shouldn't Blizzard make p2w money hoarding phone games? The market is fucking filled with them and all these gamers throw an insane amount of money at them. So why shouldn't Blizzard get a piece of that action? Hell, as a publically traded game studio, one might even say Blizzard has a fiduciary duty to at least take a stab at it.
….But an upwards of $100,000 USD to complete the game in its entirety !!! This is effin insane. Making some money is fine but literally making Diablo fans shell out Hundred Thousand Dollars to play the game is taking greediness to an entirely different level. The blizzard devs should be ashamed of what they have done. This game should be banned.
I strongly doubt you “have to” spend $100k to finish the game. I imagine you have to spend $100k if you do zero farming yourself and just try to beat the game by throwing money at it.

Question about women in their 30’s?
meh who gives a fuck. Use what you like and don't what u don't. Businesses will try to exploit you with tricks such as loyalty and shit. Just pay for good stuff and let them fck themselves with the bad.
Blizzard is now Microsoft, in case you are not aware.
Yeah I know. Why do you imply I should shill for my employer? Truth is truth. They exploit me as well and I try to squeeze every penny out of them
